Gemini Go SDK broke yesterday, could not record demo, Google has a fix this morning. EDITED

**EDIT: The Gemini API response code change has been reverted, which means that our site now works with no changes to the code: http://ec2-34-236-81-43.compute-1.amazonaws.com/. Can we get an exception to rerecord the video? Or at least, could a note be passed to the judges regarding this? Our project was unfairly inhibited by a change from the Google API.**

Hello,

Yesterday (deadline for submission), when trying to record our demo, a new change in the Gemini ChatSession API broke the Go SDK. This broke our app before we could record a working demo. I have even sent an email to the hackathon managers regarding this.

This morning, there was a fix for the go SDK, but that would require a Go module upgrade on our project to fix. Here is the documented fix: https://github.com/google/generative-ai-go/pull/98

Are we allowed to make this fix and edit the demo? The change is only to upgrade the Go modules, meaning no "code" changes on our end. And the git history will verify that we only made dependency upgrades.

As confirmed in the #gemini-api Discord channel, the Gemini API response change made yesterday was reverted/removed. This means that our website has started working again with no code changes.

Can we get an exception to rerecord the demo? Or at least, could a note be passed to the judges regarding this? Our project was unfairly inhibited by a change from the Google API.
