Is open-source a requirement? what licenses are mandated?

Hey Devpost & Google team,

Is the project being open-source a requirement for this hackathon, considering email ids to share the code wasn't mentioned in the rules. If so, what licenses can we use for the project.

  Hi there, the submission requirements include providing a URL to your code repository for judging and testing. If it is not open-source you must provide testing instructions for how judges can access your code (with a test email or demo account).
